What is kantha?

Kantha is a centuries-old embroidery technique from West Bengal and Bangladesh, where layers of fabric are sewn together with thousands of small, running stitches. Originally, old sari fabrics were recycled into warm quilts, and today the tradition lives on in beautiful, sustainable textiles, it's slow fashion at its finest.
