The cotton is grown in fields where nature's own cycles are respected. Instead of artificial fertilizers and chemical pesticides, natural methods are used, which help preserve soil fertility and biodiversity.
Healthy soil yields stronger plants, reduces environmental impact, and contributes to more sustainable agriculture. At the same time, many cotton farmers work with water-saving cultivation methods that conserve local water resources.
When the cotton is ripe, the soft fibers are harvested and carefully sorted before being sent to the next stage of production.

After harvesting, the cotton fibres are cleaned to remove seeds and impurities. The long fibres are combed and laid parallel, providing a uniform and strong basis for the finished yarn.
The fibres are then spun into fine threads using modern spinning techniques combined with many years of experience. The quality of the yarn significantly impacts the fabric's softness, strength, and durability.
At MASALA, only high-quality cotton yarn is used, so our textiles feel soft against the skin and retain their beautiful appearance – even after many washes.

Once the fabric has been woven or knitted, the final and most visible craft begins – the sewing.
Skilled seamstresses cut the fabric with great precision and assemble each product with a focus on fit, comfort, and finish. Many details are still performed by hand, and each product undergoes thorough quality control before leaving the sewing room.
