Traditional Kantha Embroidery

The blankets consist of several layers of sari fabric sewn together with the traditional kantha embroidery technique, where small, running stitches create a beautiful pattern and a lovely, dense quality. The blankets are different on both sides, giving you two looks in one blanket. The thickness varies depending on how many layers of fabric are used, but all blankets have the characteristic soft and comfortable feel that the kantha technique creates.
