MASALA sari jewellery is produced through Project Toucan, with which Masala collaborates.
The project employs approximately 500 women in low-income Indian villages, who work from home.
Toucan's mission is to empower women by offering fair wages and creating beautiful, high-quality, handmade, and unique accessories.

Our sari jewellery combines Indian textile tradition with creative upcycling. The jewellery is made from fabric from colourful Indian saris, which are given new life in the form of decorative beads, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. The many colours and patterns give each piece of jewellery its own personal expression.

Indian saris are known for their beautiful colours, patterns and textures. By using sari fabric for jewellery, even smaller pieces of textile can be given a new function instead of going to waste.
