Block Print Tablecloth – Hand-printed Cotton | 170x350 cm | MASALA

Sale price685,00 kr

SKU: DUG350-184

Our tablecloths are hand-printed using traditional Jaipur block printing.

Hand block printing is traditionally practiced by the Chhipa community in Bagru in the state of Rajasthan in India, and the word Chhipa, meaning "to dye" or "to stamp," primarily refers to people who dye and print fabric.

The block printing process begins with hand-carving wooden blocks, preferably rosewood due to its durability, which are carved into patterns and designs and then dipped in dye and stamped onto long pieces of cotton fabric.

This tablecloth measures 350 x 170 cm and is made of 100% cotton, practical for daily use and washable at 40 degrees.
