Traditional block print tablecloths from Jaipur India

Our block print tablecloths are created using one of India's oldest textile traditions. Each tablecloth is hand-printed using hand-carved wooden blocks, which are dipped in dye and carefully pressed onto the fabric. This technique, known as block printing, has been used for generations by skilled artisans, particularly in Rajasthan in northwestern India.

The creation of block prints requires great precision and experience. Each color is applied separately, and patterns are built up layer by layer. Small variations in the print are a natural part of the process and make each tablecloth unique. These small differences are precisely what emphasize the handmade expression that cannot be achieved with machine production.
